Name Of The Amarrian Religion? Options

is there a name for the Amarrian Religion?

"Christianity" would not apply as there was no "Christ" for the Amarrians.

Unless there is a name cited for the religion of the Amarr somewhere, I suppose "Imperial Orthodox" would suffice...

Perhaps, but would we call it that? There has to be *some* title to the religion. It's possible it is so synonymous with the Amarrian race that they are referred to as the same thing.

Perhaps since all we are and all we do is based on our religion, our name also comes from the same place. But I don't recall any other religions so maybe there is no need to distinguish it from any other form, so no name is needed.

In all the scriptures we are referred to simply as the 'Chosen', the 'Faithful' or the people of Amarr.

As we are the Chosen people of Amarr
We come from the land of Amarr
We follow the 'Faith of Amarr'

This is simply an observation by me, a student of the scriptures. Perhaps one of our Clergy members may shed some more light.

It may well just be called Religion, since all other religions are wrong and therefore not really religions.

It's also possible that people are known more by what strand of the religion they follow - ie Catechists, Tetrimonites etc.
